That’s incredible, I knew podcast were big, but it’s outstanding to see the reach that podcast have now-a-days. I have heard a few podcast in my time and I was one of the early fans back in the mid 2000’s and avid listener of Diggnation and TWIT

What has me really excited about Podcast today though is how much content can be generated for our social media platforms from one single podcast episode. You have the audio podcast, you can record it and put it on YouTube, then you can get sections of it and put them on Instagram, and if you want to you can transcribe it and create a blog out of it, the quantity of content is immeasurable.

One of the best things about it is its cost effectiveness and low barrier to entry. We all have a voice and know of people who have something interesting to say.

I know the argument, but there are some many podcast out there, why should I start one?

Put simply, because social media is the most influential tool when it comes to promoting your business or brand, bar none. While TV, newspapers ads and billboards have their place in media, the device we look at the most is always on our hands, that’s where eyeballs are at and that’s where marketing efforts are most effective.

Will you create the next Joe Rogan Experience, or Conan’s finding a friend? Maybe, maybe not, but the amount of content you’ll be able to create for your Social Media channels and exposure you’ll create will take your business to new heights.

Here are a few of the ones I like to listen to, tells us which ones you like.

Early data suggests that black Americans are dying from COVID-19 at higher rates than other groups. Also, the Navy hospital ship USNS Comfort will now start taking coronavirus patients, a change from its original mission. And, Wuhan, China, where the disease is thought to have began, has re-opened after a 76-day lockdown.

Actor Will Arnett feels pretty put out about being Conan O'Brien's friend. Will and Conan sit down to talk about being known as a voice-over artist, the best bits of Brian McCann, and finding his crowd with Arrested Development. Plus, Conan and Sona take another swing at a Podcast Quiz.

Robert Downey Jr. is an American actor, producer, and singer. He stars in the new movie "Dolittle" which releases in theater on January 17, 2020. Are you the creator of this podcast?
